Rock: Gustavo Cerati

As a compensation for not giving you an mp3 for the Cage9 review (below), here's another song off THE latin rock cd of 2006. Grammy winner Gustavo Cerati truly made an exceptional record with Ahi Vamos (review), released a few months ago but still not boring. In contrary, I think we'll only know the full impact of this milestone album in a few years. "La Excepción" rocks heavy, with a gentle touch of electronica where needed, and climaxes into a great solo. Cerati's songcrafting (and his beautifully poetic lyrics) are unmatched still!
